Nordeast Nak Muay Selected for Commercial Photo Shoot

In other cool news, I managed to get selected for a national ad campaign for Essentia Water which earlier this year partnered with Minneapolis ad firm, Periscope. Periscope had a photography scout over at Uppercut Gym one day, and the guy said that they needed a boxer for a photo shoot. He says, “It pays $750 for your time.” I was like, “Hell yeah!,” and upon shooting I went from playing the role of guy meant to be faceless punching bag into the feature of the shoot! I definitely wasn’t aiming for that, but they kept asking, “What would a real boxer do if X, Y, or Z happened?,” and I guess they liked the results that were coming through in the photos.
