Private Boxing Show at The Medina Entertainment Center - Tool and Dye
I kicked off 2017 with a bang, taking on a good boxer out of Cerresso Fort's gym in St. Paul. We fought on the 41st Annual "Tool and Dye" show sponsored by the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association (http://www.mpma.com/). It was an honor to fight on this show, as many of the local boxing greats fought on this show as amateurs.
Building off of what I didn't like in my last fight in December, I formulated a game plan with my coaches which consisted of a move forward mentality no matter what. I also wanted to make sure to win the first round, but maintain my focus well enough in the breaks to continue to win rounds 2 and 3. I brought aggression throughout the entire fight, and my coaches commented that I looked like a completely different fighter. This is the default mentality that I want to bring to every fight.
I felt that this was a breakthrough fight for me and I'm excited to see what the rest of the year will bring.
